Friends and Classmates Welcome back to our Blogsite. This has been inactive for some time now after we had our Reunion at Island Cove Resort, Cavite last January 13-14, 2007.

It's almost a year already since we had our 30th Year Reunion in the Philippines. Again this coming August 2008 our colleagues Andy & Rowie will host another Reunion in the U.S.

30th Anniversary Reunion of Batch '77 of FEU Med-tech was finally closed with a Prayer

Our 30th Anniversary Reunion of FEU MT'77&COF finally came to a close with a prayer inspired from above delivered by our friend and classmate Ramon "Mon" Bongco.

The closing ceremony was marked with lots of hugs, kisses and picture takings. It was something that we will really miss everyone who attended the two-day reunion activities and we cannot easily forget such event in our lifetime.

We will always treasure your presence here as long as we live.

FEU MT'77&COF President Elect Live on Air

The closing ceremonies of the 30th Anniversary reunion was marked by FEUMT'77&COF Business Meeting where two promising personalities were voted upon by unanimous votes as Presidents of the RP Group and the US/Abroad respectively.

Elected to the post as President of the RP is Jerrimo "Jerry" Genuino with Gerardo "Gerry" Handog as his deputy or VP. While for the U.S./Abroad Group Romeo "Romy" Francisco with Ramon "Mon" Bongco as his deputy or VP were elected to the posts.

It was very timely that the newly elected President of RP Group was interviewed live on air at Radio AM frequency 558 khz of your radio bandwidth at lunchbreak.

He was also scheduled to appear this evening news program at two tv stations, ABC 5 and NBN (formerly channel PTV 4 - gov't station) with topic on practical nursing.

Jerry is currently the Senior Vice President for Business Development of Divine Grace Medical Center.

Our Congratulations to the newly elected Officers of our organization.

More Power to you, the members of your team and to our ever cherished endeavors which will soon be realized.

Reunion Announcement !!!

Please be informed that our transport vehicle will be at location site by 8:00am and hopefully we expect our classmates riding the vehicle be there before 8:30am so they can leave early since the road to Cavite is quite heavy to traffic in the morning and afternoon.

We will have our morning program to start at 10:00am at Island Cove. Program of activities will be announced at the site when you arrive by Maan Calma Bagos.

2nd World Pyro Olympics Championship

Simultaneous with our 30th Anniversary Reunion is the competition participated in by nine countries to the 2nd World Pyro Olympics Championship to be held near SM Mall of Asia. We can witness an array of display of different kinds of pyrotechniques designs, colors in the sky amidst its darkness.

We are so fortunate that this coincides with our 30th Anniversary Reunion.

We will be selecting our Best Dressed for Male and Female in their most elegant attire of the 70's.

Ocular Visit @ Island Cove on Dec. 29, 2006 about 1:00 pm

We are inviting our classmates who are interested to go with the core group for a final ocular visit at our reunion venue at Island Cove Resort and Leisure Park on December 29, 2006 at about 1:30 pm.

Our meeting place will be at Pancake, Blue Wave, Macapagal Highway, Reclamed Area about 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.

Our visit would cover the following:

1. To make a 50% downpayment for the total attendees of our Reunion 2007.
2. To finalize reservation of attendees and designate room assignments and pairings on double sharing per room.
3. To finalize our orders of souvenir t-shirts complete with sizes, color and logo design.
4. Finalize venue arrangements.
5. Arrange for Professional photographer/video cameraman.
6. Preliminary practice for emcees, dancers, sounds and lighting effects.
7. Other Concerns.

For those interested to go with the core group please advise Maam Calma Bagos. Please confirm earlier. We hope those (local classmates) who were assigned in the different working group committees will take part in this endeavor if necessary.

Lorna appreciate if we may be furnished with the updated listings of attendees who will be coming over from the states to finalize arrangements of booking and payment.

RP Group Reunion 2007 Presentation Practice

Our 30th Anniversary Reunion for the FEU Med-tech Class 1977 & our Circle of Friends is now a-month away from the celebration date.

We would like our balikbayan classmates as well as our local counterparts to make this whole celebration as much as possible a simple one but with lots of memories to reckon with.

It is not but easy organizing our group especially most of us are scattered around the globe, but with the latest technology of communication (computers/cellphones/etc.) that we have now nothing is impossible. Only we have to exercise somehow patience and perseverance to make "Kulit" to our batchmates to be able to achieve our objective.

Again, and again please be reminded that really nothing happens by chance but all these things happening to us now have a purpose. We may not know today but later on we find the answers to all our unanswered questions in mind.

We should be thankful to our classmates abroad that they reponded to our call for a batch reunion in 2007 even though it is quite costly to return back home.

As a token of our gratitude for the unselfish love of our classmates and COF, we are planning to have a presentation practice at:

Pugad Lawin Subdivision @ Bahay Toro (Clubhouse) beside Quezon City General Hospital on December 3 (Sunday) at 3pm till 6pm and onwards.

Entrance to the place is through the road beside Ford Phils. If coming from Cubao take right once you reached the road before Ford Phils. You just proceed straight and you will end up at Pugad Lawin Subdivision.

Please ask the guard for the Clubhouse just a few meters away from the guardhouse.

Mini Reunion @ Marge's Home was reset to Oct. 21

Dear RP Classmates,

Our Mini Reunion scheduled on October 22, 2006 at Dr. Marge Roda Genabe's place was moved to October 21, 2006 at the same venue from lunchtime till afternoon.

We have two Balikbayan classmates who will be attending the said mini reunion, Aurora Reyes, Mely Go and of course Marge Roda.

We hope you could spare your precious time be with them and the rest of our classmates on this rare occasion.
